“Okay” he said softly, looking carefully at what she was doing. Charlie and Lucy were nowhere to be seen so Harry just assumed that they were either tired and lying somewhere or they had just found something else to do. It looked delicious and he couldn’t wait to taste it. Still, he kept his distance and even settled at the table to give Naya her space. He knew how annoying it was to have someone watching his step when he was in the kitchen so he didn’t want to be the annoying one. He smiled as the plate was set in front of him and grabbed his fork. “You are so cute” he chuckled. The sight of her resting her hand on her swollen stomach made him realize that this was really happening because sometimes, it felt like a dream. But they were really having chilrdren. Three beautiful babies and they would love each of them equally.
“Thank you” he mouthed, before taking his first bite. “It’s delicious, baby. Really”. His fingers wrapped around hers, giving them a light squeeze as they ate. It was only when Naya pointed it out that Harry heard some noise outside. “Hm, I was wondering where they were. They’re always around, it’s a bit weird not to hear or see them but some time alone with my wife is really good”. Were they going to be jealous of the babies? That was something Harry wanted to avoid but having one baby and having three babies were two different thing. Naya and him were going to have less time to give some attention to their lovely dogs but they could still somehow be included while they took care of the babies. “I was thinking… we could invite both our families over for Christmast. What do you think?
Naya was grateful when Harry let her do everything tonight, she knew that he could be over protective but while she enjoyed it and was getting used to it, it was still nice to know that he trusted her enough to know her own body. She knew she was high risk and she would never do anything to put this pregnancy in jeopardy. The latina smiled over her shoulder at Harry when she got the food out of the oven because he was sitting down and seemed relaxed even when she was going from the oven to the table to the fridge to the table. Naya usually let Harry have free reign in the kitchen while she just watched but tonight was his turn to relax. She really appreciated that he wanted to take care of her and he was doing an amazing job at doing that. Sitting down she was happy to be having a meal with her husband and learning about his day, it was something that went on all over the world but there were nights they would eat alone or that Naya would fall asleep so they couldn’t always eat together like this and she never wanted to take this for granted. Sometimes she didn’t even realize what she was doing but her hand rested on her bump with a soft rubbing motion that even she was unaware that she was making before her brain finally caught up. She giggled softly as Harry said she was cute. “Aw boo so are you” she stated smiling at him and then glancing down she was growing all the time and she never wanted to miss a moment.
“You’re welcome” she smiled “i was thinking i’d never be able to cook for you ever again” she joked knowing that when they did eat together it was usually her husband who had cooked for them. Naya usually took a relaxing bath or took a short nap but she loved to eat and Harry was a great cook. The latina felt proud when Harry said it was delicious and she could see how much he was enjoying it as he took a bite. Her eyes darted to their linked fingers as Harry gave them a squeeze, it made the blood pump hard from her heart and she was aware of it. Her gaze went towards the back door as she talked about Charlie and Lucy playing outside, they loved their dogs and she knew that their time with them was precious and that they would always include them she imagined them having long walks with the triplets in the stroller and Harry pushing them while she had Charlie and Lucy on their leashes. “I’m glad to have some time with my gorgeous husband” she smiled and continued to eat her food she was enjoying it so much and glanced up as Harry spoke again. “I’d like that babe it will be great to get everyone together for the holidays. So yes i’d really love that”. Cocking her head slightly she stands up and leans over the table. “Kiss” she states as she puckers up for a kiss.
